All's well here in our new humble abode. Casey and I are all settled in and decor is at its finest. A small television (donated by T & A Mack) with little rabid bunny ears (from GoodWill) are usually the main focus. Casey and I are perfectly content with being 'home-bodies'. Some may say we are the typical lame newlyweds. We really do love our apartment. We have been so blessed with all of our furniture and accesories. Bed set from the Lakes, couches from complete strangers, table from Casey's aunt, coffee table from Ali, and TONZ of gift cards from friends and fam. THANKS!

Our Story
Casey, born and raised in Salem, Utah, moved to Albuquerque his freshman year of high school. McKenzie, born in SLC and raised in Idaho Falls, moved to the 'burque mid junior year. They met at Cibola High School more officially their senior year, 2005. Who knew they both moved to Albuquerque just to find each other? Their first date was senior prom with the encouragment of a mutual friend saying that they were "perfect" for each other. They hit it off and had a great time immediately liking each other. The funny part of the story is with all the love there was still a little room for heartbreak. Casey wasn't too sure about dating before the mission so he didn't show interest for a while 'till he decided that he would rather be with her for the time they had left. They were together 6 months until Casey served an amazing and honorable mission in Tacoma, Washington. They kept in contact through letter and emails while he served. Upon his return it was McKenzie's turn to be a little uncertain. It was about 3 months before she realized how much she missed him and wanted him in her life. From then the rest is history. The two have been inseperable since and grow to love each other more and more each day. So amidst the moments of uncertainty they pulled through and have become stronger in their love. McKenzie and Casey are to be married in the Albuquerque Temple. They plan to live in Albuquerque for school and work; at least until McKenzie is done with school. After that who knows where the wind will take them. They are so excited for the new and unpredictable adventures of a new life together.
